My Thoughts

My computer (owned for less than two months, mind you) is now telling me it does not like the browser I’ve chosen for cruising the Internet. I understand that the monopolizing tyrants of Microsoft would rather have me use one of their browsers, but I will not.

It would be easy for me to walk away from the world broadcast online, to not let it bother me, to not start potentially awkward conversations with everyone I encounter, but I will not do that either. People who bury their heads in the sand, who go along just to get along, who will let themselves be manipulated by carefully edited and controlled sound bytes and images, who will believe only what the purveyors with all the money and power tell them to believe are the ones who give those purveyors all that money and power, handing over Freedom and Truth in the process. Stop saying, “I don’t trust that source.” You should listen to all of them, but trust none implicitly. Don’t let them pour propaganda into your brain, and don’t do their marketing for them by repeating the propaganda and persecuting those who refuse to be pawns.

Educate yourself.
